Browsed around Dell's site, Voodoo, etc... picked up one of my Maximum PC mags & saw those Alien eyes looking at me, went to the site and lo & behold a "mobile desktop" Always wanted one of those, with them Alien eyes

Phase 7: no email
Phase 8: no email
3/11/05 rolls around and still phase 3, from reading prior posts, figured I'd call & see. spoke to a rep and was informed that on 3/7/05 I hit phase 9 and that my system should ship out early next week 3/14-3/18. no big deal to me, I got patience. (that's waht 9 years in a vietnamese prison camp will do to a man.)
Phase 9: 3/16/05 so I hit phase 9? interesting..... either the rep I spoke to was misinformed or the email phase status to customer is lagging way behind. Either way, it's all good. I'm in no rush. Pics soon to follow...........

Really a killer rig

I have one too....the waiting is tough but you are NOT ALONE!
6 MONTHS OF WAITING
Sorry to hear they dropped your alien. Compared to what your going through, as well as Yang's whole ordeal. I have had it easy. I'm not calling them up to check on the progress anymore because I don't want to pressure them into rushing into finishing my 7700. Don't wanna piss off or stress anyone who's building my pc. I figure my 7700 should be here within 2 more weeks.
I had a '79 also.
