Man this sucks

This sucks, I had next day shipping on my order for the 9300, well instead of them shipping it for next day shipping they put it on Ground shipping this sucks. I will get my laptop tomorrow.

Complain to Dell. You may get a rebate, or some goodies thrown in.

I think "Ground" in UPS means something different.
I had 2nd day but the UPS said "ground".....but I still got it 2nd day.
I looked it up at UPS and can't remember specifics...but something like "Ground" means it'll be delivered on a certain date...
Might try surfing the UPS site for more info...

I did, It says Service Type: GROUND
Scheduled Delivery: Mar 18, 2005

It shipped yesterday around 5pm. I should of received it today if it was placed for Next day.

D'oh! I'd call Dell and moan till they gave me a freebie or something...
How's the tracking look? Any updates to tell you how close it is?

yeah...that's where mine came from (from TN to NC)
It did arrive the next day in Greensboro (I'm in Raleigh...probably around 1 1/2 - 2 hours away) and sat there ALL DAY.

I live in Raleigh too, I hate it when things sit in Greensboro all day! I haven't had a laptop do that =P, but I have had other stuff. One time I had my cell phone stuck in Memphis, TN for 3 days because of snow. I really hope that doesn't happen to my lappy (which is Boxing Stage right now).

Well at least im getting tomorrow, I should of received it on the 24 ,but still I was going to my friends house today and chill until Sunday. Man this sucks, I'm still going to my friends house, Ill probably see my Laptop on sunday. . Am i crazy . Its so dam painful waiting for a laptop, it feels like you heart has to work harder and you heart gets slower, until you get your laptop it will beat faster and get back to normal ahahha lol .

Well i just spoke to them and they said that they did forward the laptop as " next day" but UPS change it to "ground" i ASKED THEM why he said must of been human error yea blame it on HUMAN ERROR . This suckssssssssssssss. Well at least I got a coupon for 35 bucks

I ordered ground when I ordered. But when I called up to ask about order status, the Delf offered me a free upgrade to next day. But when it shipped UPS displayed it as ground. However it got there in 1 day. It was shipped from Nashville to Hammond, LA. (not too far from New Oleans).

That may not be true, though. It won't get scanned again till it reaches it's next point...although, I gotta say it's not looking good for today....

O im not expecting my laptop today. I lost hope since I saw the "GROUND" label.
Im so piss that I will go to my friends house and not look at my laptop until sunday

If this is all you have to complain about, I want your life. 24 extra hours. Gee whiz.

Besides, I'm not even sure you have a valid complaint. Just because Dell's site says shipped, that doesnt mean it is in UPS's hands. It probably got picked up by UPS the next morning and will be delivered the day after that. Pretty sure thats the definition of next day shipping. Next day AFTER ups has it in their care.
