Gotta love Dell Customer Service!!! - Page 2

Shinji, I feel the same way... I've owned 2 Dell notebooks (I8500 and I5100) and 1 Dell desktop (D4100) and never had any problems with any Dell system or any disappointments with Dell customer service.

no doubt XPS2 will be even more impressive

Yup, that's with:

- Bightness set to 6
- MP3 playing in the background (medium loudness)
- Network card and modem turned off
- Surfing with wireless connection
- Occasional use of optical drive
- Graphics card overclocked to 350/725

70 minutes was too short and I told myself that I should have ordered an extra 9-cell battery with the 35% off coupon. After getting over the fact that I will be spending a little more money on a battery, I went on ebay and spent $128 for a new 9-cell battery this morning. Then in the afternoon, I realized that I should call to ask Dell if everything was normal, and I ended up with a free 9-cell. So now I will be putting one of them on ebay, unless I could get my friend with a 9200 to buy in from me!

i think i might have to try that, because i was going to call them about their annoying shipping mistake
see http://notebookforums.com/showthread.php?t=69760
it was really annoying but at least i got it before i left for spring break. so i think i'm gonna give them a call today and get something, and a battery seems liek a good idea.

I posted this on the 35% coupon thread as well, but thought some of you may be interested.

Well I called Dell Customer Svc. and told them I could buy the same exact 9300 in my sig for $303.97 less than the $24xx i paid for it if I used the 35% online coupon code M0KWBXGM6WXFFS for Dell home.

Well after getting put through to the return manager, I gave her the coupon code and she asked if a $300.00 credit would be ok . I said fine. She gave me the DPS# and said it will be credited. Took about 10 minutes.

well i just got off the phone with brian (hah prb muhumad) and i got 75$ coupon code, and that 35% credit of my account seems cool too, and makes sense too, retail stores do it all the time when they have sales. i'll prb give that a shot too.

ok nm i would have saved like 30 bucks with the new coupon, not worth a call to dell.
