Just ordered a new Dell 9300

Hey guys i'm new here, been browsing for awhile but havn't figured out how to activate my account but I got it, stupid no free internet email thing. But I ordered a 9300 on monday, 3/14 and the phone says its in the build stage, while the internet just says in production, been following the forum for a couple of days now and am pretty excited about the laptop.

Specs I got are:

1.6ghz 533mhz FSB P-M
512mb Ram
17" WUXGA true life display
60gb (5400rpm)
Geforce Go 6800

I'm a little worried about the display with all the comments and complaints on the sparkle thing going around, but this will be my first laptop so I think it should be ok, if not i'll go ahead and return it or request another LCD. I do have a few questions though, can't remember any of them now so i'll update when I remember them, but is there any kind of theft protection? I know complete care doesn't cover it but is there anything u can do to get that? And anybody have any pictures or details about the Dell Backpack that comes as one of the options for the 9300? Thx for the help guys.

It's usually possible to put your laptop on your house insurance, then it will be covered for theft, flood, fire etc.

wouldn't that only count if its in my home though, and its not exactly my home, I live with my parents, but this is going to be a laptop i'd like to be able to take to school, (high school), cuz I can type way better than I can write stuff, so i'd would help me alot in taking notes and stuff, but i'm worried it will get stolen.

What??? You can bring laptop computers to high school classes now??? I can see myself just playing games or surfing wirelessly if we had that back in the days!

I asked my insurance company and they said it covers it when I'm on vacation and all that. Theft is only offered by Dell in Australia I believe.
