Thanks guys.....I was at Comp USA, trying to pass the time as I wait for the XPS2, and was overwhelmed by all the mice that they had.

I'm still using the Mx 700 myself. I wanna get a bluetooth one Mx 1000 but I heard bad reviews about it.

the Logitech MX1000 is by far the best mouse i have EVER used. I can not recommend this mouse for a laptop though simply because you have a lot of extra stuff to carry with it (power adapter, base station etc). I use a mx510 with my laptops and will be getting the mx518 sson as i find one.

I'm using a good ol' Kensington PocketMouse Pro with my current laptop (the one with the cord that retracts back into the mouse body and a door that covers the USB connector) ... it's nice and small, when packed away it has nothing sticking out and has no sharp edges so it won't snag on things in my bag and the cable won't break off (unlike the mice with cords that have winders in the middle of them) yet I can use it for hours without too much bother (after a few hours my hand starts to hurt but then I find any mouse does ... I normally use a trackball) ... no intention to change when my 9300 comes

I was looking at the MX1000 too but alot of the reviews noted lag when picking it up and down. Any lag is bad for gaming...

Also as was stated, there's alot of extra 'stuff' you'd have to take along with you. I'm sticking with the MX500.

Bluetooth mouse for gaming is a bad bad bad idea... cause bluetooth transmission rate is not fast enough to catch up to an average user's response...

Assuredly I say to you there will be lag between your hand and the cursor when you use a bluetooth mouse...

I recommended the MX500 but you might want to take a look at the MX518.

Bluetooth yea. I have been using the mx1000 (laser) mouse for about 4 months now on my desktop and have not noticed any lag whatsoever in gaming.

The only good RF mice I know of is Logitech's MX700... the next would be MX1000... forget about the rest of the Rf mice... no other RF Mice is as good as Logitech's... and yes.. NO BT mice is fast enough to transmit an average user's hand response...
