XPS2 - Second Monitor ( DVI )

Hey all,

Waiting for my XPS2 to arrive. I plan on using this machine with an external monitor ( The Dell 19" LCD - 1905FP @ 1280 x 1024 ). Does anyone know if:

1.) Will the video card support monitor-out at 1280x1024?
2.) The XPS2 has a DVI out, right?

yes and yes

dvi has better quality than your standard vga

ok i asked this somewhere else but didnt get a reply.

the plasma monitor i plan to connect through has a max. resolution of 840x460 or something (edtv). but the specs say it can display resolutions of vga, xga, sxga and uxga when connecting a comp. so how is that possible.
