Hi,

I ordered mine on March 17 in the UK. It is in pre-production today on March 18. What about yours?

I ordered mine on the 16th but am still in pre-production. It turned out that there was a problem getting clearance on the credit card, but Dell chose not to inform me of this. It was only because I called today and asked why I had not received an order number that the problem came to light. Unfortunately my machine will only be cleared for production tomorrow so I've lost 2 days! Bah!

i orderd the morning of the 16th....well get this....according to theonly order tracker my order is still processing...pfffffffttttttt

the autoamted telephone service says the order has been delayed and contact my rep.

contact customer service and they are absolutely positivly certain my order is in production and scheduled for delivery 4/4/05

lol god only knows where its really stands, i know my credit card was authd and they do have payment. oh well after my nail biting month with my 9100 origianlly ive learnt to just chill and ill get it when i get it. (but that dont mean i wont be calling em every day :P)

It is now the 24th, and I've been in pre-production since the 18th. I called customer services and they assured me the machine went into production at 10.00pm on the 22nd. Funnily enough the website says I went into PRE-production on the 22nd, so I have no idea what is going on.

Anyone in the UK with an order that shows "In production" when checking the online status?

ordered form dell ireland on the 17th March,but only went into pre-production on the 23rd.my original estimated delivery date has been revised from 27/March to 4 /April.
will the xps's for uk/ireland come from the irish production plant?

simonhipsey: I just discovered that I have the exact same problem now. Order was in pre-production according to website. Phone status didn't work at all. Now phone status say there has been a delay and the website says it could find my order, but no status. Customer care said they are shown two different things and wanted to check - but didn't come back to my. And my rep has gone into hiding and the moment. Wondering what's going on, but I only ordered a few days ago. What's your status right now? Did anyone else have this before?

Mine is still stuck in pre-production according to the Dell order status web site. My guess is we may start seeing some progress next Tuesday after Easter.

I ordered mine from the Canadian Dell site on the 26th of March... I'm in production now... and I just got off the phone with my rep who says I'm still about a week away from shipping
Kinda pisses me off because alot of others ordered after me and have tracking numbers by now... How does Dell queue these things up anyway??? Oh well... I moans and groanded a,d whined and threatened... and he gave me a 75.00 discount and overnight shipping... as well... if I'm a little at the back of the pack, that will ensure that I don't get one of those crappy LG screens.

My Status

Ordered on 16th March - pre-production (awaiting components).
as of 22nd March - Production.
ETA - 5th April (Yeah right ......)

excited when i see it ....
