Hello all.
I recently purchased a Fujitsu N6010.
First off, I must say that this notebook is just amazing and I couldn't be happier with it.
I do seem to be having one problem when writing dvd's. I opted for the multiformat DVD writer in the N6010. Today I tried to burn my first DVD-R and for some reason Nero 6 is posting that the maximum burn speed is 2x. The literature states that this DVD writer writes at 8x. I do indeed have DMA enabled and can't find any relevant adjustments to change the write speed.
Could it be the writer? One would think that this would operate at 8x "out of the box", no? Maybe a software adjustment I'm not aware of?
Can anyone offer any insight or suggestions on how to fix this?
Thanks a bunch!
Samantha
