Problem to set up wi-fi (Dell 1350) on i9300

Hi, there:
I got a weird problem to set up Dell 1350 Wi-Fi on my i9300. I have a Linksys WRT54GS router use WAP. And My wife's i8600 with Intell 2200BG works fine. However, the i9300 with Dell 1350 could not see my WRT54GS. But it can see and connect to my neighbor's APs. I tried both Dell's and Windows's setup. Even the Net Stumbler can not see my AP. I disable the MAC filter on the AP, but still not work. I'll try to change the channel tomorrow.

Any help?

Sorry, can't help. Try contacting Dell, they might help. *bump* just in case someone else can...

did you check to see if the 1350 has the most up to date driver? how bout the firmware on the router?

The firmware of the router and 1350 driver are both latest. Hard reset the router does not help. What puzzle me is that 1350 can see other APs and 2200 BG can see my AP. But 1350 can not see my AP.

Thanks for any help.

Did you check your wireless network settings? Is it set to find any AP? Do you broadcast SSID or filter by MAC maybe?

yeah just manually type in your router name in windoze and see if you cna connect. maybe it just isnt broadcasting.

Yeah, that is. Since I disable the SSID broadcast, I have to create a profile before 1350 can see it. It works now. Thanks guys.

BTW, as I remember that when I set up i8600, the Intel 2200BG can see my AP before I created a profile. I'll double check it later.
