Why Dell don't use 100GB HDD 5400RPM?

Hi:

I would like to place an order of the XPS Gen 2. I saw in this forum that Dell use 100GB HDD 4200RPM, why they don't use a faster 100GB HDD? I want a good speed HDD , but also good for storage.

id get the cheapest hd you can and then upgrade to the segate 7200rpm drives when then are on general release to the public
