battery life on Dell Inspirion 9300 and Dell Inspiron XPS Gen 2?

I was wondering what the battery life was like on these two things? Lets say I wasn't playing games, but say, watching a couple dvds. or a couple div-x movies.

also how much if I was playing a game.

It depends on the battery type for the 9300. You have an option for the 6 or 9. With the 9 the battery claims from the reviews I've seen are around 3 hours.

With the XPS2 you only can get the 9 and CNET just did a review that said the battery life was a little over 2 hours.
