Sending images from computer to TV

Not really a tech problem but more of a question. I want to send the video on my 8890 to the TV in my dorm room. However the TV is old so it doesn't have S video in and S video out. Any way I could connect a coxial cable from the tv tuner to the tv, and where would I put it in the TV?

the tv-tuner is a coaxial in... not out.

one of my video cards came with a s-video to rca adapter..

you could try that if your tv has a rca in (one of the 3 A/V wires, 1 video, 2 audio)

You can also get rca or coax to rf converters. Just like you can get rf to rca or coax converters. Most any electronics store should have them. Then its just run the wire. Probably best to stay in coax for any distance.
