M60 Internet Problems

Heres the deal, my interent seems to kick out randomly. Im sure its my computer because my room mates alreayd works (ive tried switchined our ethernet connections) Wirelss always works great. The internet will work for a while and then just stop on my. It works right after restarting/logging in, and stops around 10 minutes later. Thanks IN advance.

So i unistalled Blubster.. and now everything works... The mysteries of computers.

Yeah i know I love numpads, but oh well at least i can unplug mine and it works. Small trade off...

Alright so its back, same issues as before, but when i click repair on my Broadcom 570x Gigabit LAN it works again... Any ideas?

Whats even stranger is that even when im on my weirelss there will be connection and it sees the router and i get a good signal. But i still lose internet sometimes. This happens when im on wireless or wired. Any ideas?

try turning off the power down option on the internet adapter.

worked for me on my dell c610 and the truemobile 1300 card

It sounds like you have DHCP running on your local LAN and your computer is having troubles keeping it's lease on the DHCP assigned IP address. If possible, assign yourself a static IP as a workaround.

I allowed windows to use a firewall, that seemed to work. honestly i have no idea but now it works.

oh i havent checked the wireless now, maybe i should check that now. The fixed port is all good now, time to try the wireless.
