How many females??

Just curious as to how many females are actually in this forum. Seems like there are only a couple...

Based on my analysis of the extensive demographic research done last year their are relatively few "natural" females that post to the Dell forums.

However, their is a much higher incidence of what I'll refer to as "post-operative females" in this forum than what would be expected based on the population as a whole.

The Sager forum, of course, has the highest percentage of "post-operative females".

it depends what you mean by "in this forum." I'm female...but I only lurk! oh, and i'm female without the benefit of surgery, lol

Yep, about as many as I thought: 2.

Actually, that's 50% more than my orginal assumption, but I can adjust to the influx of estrogen I suppose...

Men certainly don't have the ultimate claim on geekiness - the fact that I'm still here, still weighing up specs and still waiting for the perfect laptop definitely puts the lie to that assertion.

I shop for laptops like some other women shop for clothes.
