wow - at least two XPS2 already in testing... I bet they'll start shipping early next week

my system is still in production - "Build" stage (by phone only though)

What I don't understand is I know that I was not one of the first to order a XPS G2 as I ordered mine on 28 Feb so why am I one of the first to get too shipping? LeeU

My XPS-2 is also in testing according to online order status. I ordered on March 8th.

Wow Dell is realy messed up, i ordered mine March 7th and your already in testing according to the site, i am in built according to the phone. I dont even know what i will do when i get it , waiting this long for it, i will probobly just look at it for about 10min without even touching it, ahhh this is driving me nuts only a few more days until we get our XPS2'a!!!!

I ordered mine on Feb 24th, so it seems that it's kind of random on which ones get finished first.

I just called and I'm in the build stage. I created another forum to discuss those who get their systems... their first impression.. their initial experiences... .and especially, wondering how those with the Media Center Operating System do.

It's under XPS2 GAMING LAPTOP HERE

The web site lists me as being in PRE-PRODUCTION, so I was happy to hear on the automated phone message that I am in the PRODUCTION BUILD stage. YAHOO!

So did you check your status on Friday ? If so and it changed to testing this morning then that would mean they are working Saturdays. Malaysia is 16hrs ahead of PST.

On Fri my XPS was in Production (where it had been since March 01) going right past Kiting into Build. I'm still puzzled how I passed people that purchased before me. LeeU

Hey, at least you won't be leaving for a foriegn country this coming Friday and have to wait another month or so to get your laptop shipped to you over there. I just hope to hell this thing gets here before I leave.

WOOT! In testing! Went from saying kitting to building to testing all in the course of a hour! This is all after my order actually got downgraded from building to kitting.
