I selected 'AutoOverclock' on my driver panel, and the damn thing crashed out before the first game test was done! I'm also using the 76.41's, so it's not a driver issue (although I think I'm using the 'performance' drivers from Laptopvideo2go...). I will try again to make sure it's not a fluke, but i8kfangui says my GPU temp is ~45C before I start...
EDIT: Okay, yeah, this thing crashes everytime I enable 'AutoOverclock' and start a 3D application...if I set it back to 'No Overclocking', I can run 3dmark05 flawlessly and end up with 5332 and a GPU temp of about ~52C...I have no idea how far Nvidia's program is ramping things up, but if it's really jacking the core clock by ~85 Mhz, that could be it...I will try throwing I8kfangui's switches up to 'high' on 'manual control' and running it overclocked again to explore the theory that it's a heat issue...
Also, this is worthy of another thread since there's been a breakthrough (albeit a small and uncontrollable one), so I'm pasting this result into the first post...anybody who has more info on overclocking, please use the new thread so we can collect all info in one place (if you feel like it)...
