Guys...looks like this thread has been dead for some time. I haven't been messing with my lappy to get a higher score, but I did decide to see what these new 80.40 extreme G drivers could do. My score dropped from 5359 to 5284 and wanted to see if anyone else in the 5K top 20 list have tried these new drivers. Is Jed still around? He still on top of the list?

Dell Drivers

Well, I haven't tried the 80.40's, but I DID use the newest Dell 77.24 drivers, and stock they turned 5382, overclocked through the BIOS hack at 525/1300 to get 6055.

I went from the forceware 76.50 to the Dell 77.24 and my 3dmark05 score went from 5229 to 5302 stock.
So far so good. What bothers me, is that I am now getting sound glitches in doom 3 ROE; the sound of the weapon firing just goes after a couple of minutes...
Obviously, this cannot be related to the video driver update, right?
