have been using different brands of notebooks, like all other brands, there are both gd and bad issues. However, one thing that stands out for Acer is their customer service, esp their 48 hrs gurantee services. Bascially, if something went wrong with your Acer, anything will be solved within 48 hrs. However, you will have to do all your upgrades in Acer authorized shops for that to be vaild.
For me, Toshiba is abit more expensive than Acer, well that depends on the specs though, heavier too. For Dell, we are talking about BRICKS not notebook. Dell makes gd computers but they are just too too heavy to be a notebook.
