LOl, I spent a lot of hours yesterday re-setting up all my objectdock and windowblinds and stuff and then after it was all done and customised I decided I didnt want the CPU hit and nuked it all straight off again.

OT: I got well over 2 hours playing WoW on battery the other day, that was at max power, 1900 x 1200 full settings, using my wireless internet and my MX900 bluetooth mouse - completely stoked!

And search "1900 1220 wallpaper" in google and you should find some really cool ones - I'm using this amazing fractal image, it looks sweet.

how are you finding the bluetooth mosue?

do you play any fps?

im very hesitant of wireless, but its all bad experiences from infrared. interested to know the lag on the bluetooth mice.

So long as I use a decent mousing surface I cant tell the difference between my MX900 and my cabled MS Intellimouse - I've only been playing WoW so far, but I had a quick spin on Half-Life 2 (1900 x 1220 max detail locked at 60fpx with v-sync!) and I didn't notice any difference but I'll be having a big HL2 session later today so I'll let you know how it goes.

OT: Hey DJ, I have been trying to play WoW on wireless also but have been having probs maintaining connection in game. Do you have the 2915 wireless card? What router do you use? I have opened just about every port available on the damned router and still can't get throughput on WoW for more than about 5secs once I am connected to the server, after which my wireless refuses to connect to the router again.
I'd appreciate any help you could give.

Cheers

Hi, yeah I mentioned in your other thread that I'm playing WoW fine with that card.

I'm letting Windows manage the connection, not the bundled util, and I'm using a Netcomm 1300W wireless modem/router.

Hope this helps - nobody should have to worry about the connection when playing the awesome WoW.

WOOHOO! IT'S FINALLY HERE!!!

Screen is very nice, laptop is big too, but very light for its size. Metal construction in all the right places.

If you don't have one, go out and get one. Go Dell 9300!

Will write more later... For now... LAPTOP FUN!

Hehe I notice it's extended to today "for technical reasons" (but you need to ring them to get it) ... got another couple of friends who are now getting 9300's!
