HP Pavilion zt3000 silver parts

Thread Starter
Greetings,

Although I always take exteme good care of my notebooks, I have notice some scratches/decoloration on (most/all) the silver parts of my HP Pavillion zt3000.

Ok, it's not a life and death issue but a aesthetics matter!

Damaged parts are:
*The cover where the HP logo is placed. Yup, that big cover on the back of the LCD!
*The slim border/cover around the LCD (the front of the LCD)
*The slim border/cover around the keyboard

Does anyone know where can I order a replacement of this parts?

Any ideas on how to recover that nice 'brand new' appearence of my notebook?

Thanks in advance!

I have the same.

I have the pavilion zt3340. I just have a few questions for you, as it may help to resolve this matter.

What are the discolorations from? Have you tried to clean them? Are these discolorations and scratches from anything specific (color transfer, bumping into something, etc.)? Where and how many discolorations are there? Where/How many scratches are there?

Thanks for any further information you can give.
