so I'm ordering a 9300, (my first laptop) and hoping that I get a decent WUXGA screen. What kind of warranty do I need to have to be able to get them to ship out a replacement Samsung lcd if I get a crappy LG?
Also, I work in Maya and 3d Studio Max (along with photoshop, flash etc), (3rd year of college) and even though I appretiate the capabilities of the 1900x1200, on my desktop I run the display at 1280x1024 and am used to that size (don't like the look of 1600X1200). (everything a little too small)
would it be better for me to just get the WXGA and just save my eyes, and the 200 extra that I would be saving on the XGA?
Also I haven;t heard one bad thing about the WXGA, except a little light leakage and minimal *sparkles*. Anywhere else I can see reviews on that? What is the default resolutions on the XGAs?
I have seen many pictures but somethin that is bothering me is that some show the top of the laptop to be a "carbon fibre like" material

and others seem to look like a plain grey (ie the dell website).

Is there a hidden option as to which type you want?
sorry for the ammount of questions, but want to be sure..
thanks
