they are total ass crap. I think the drivers are bad becuase the performance is terrible. Even when I move a window it runs terrible. Don't download them.

Did you 1st remove old drivers & use a program like Driver Cleaner (removes any leftover files) before you installed new omega's?
I was thinking of trying those new omega's

yes, i uninstalled the old drivers threw add/remove in the control panel, then i installed the omegas. you can try them if you want, its just that they dont work on my radeon 9000. they show the tabs for opengl and directed, but the performance is equal to having no drivers at all.

I have installed the omaga 3.7 drivers and i get great proformance out of them so u might just need to reinstall yours

What GPU do you have M-9 or M-10P?

na, nothing works. Tried to use that driver cleaner program too and no luck. Oh well

i put these drivers on my 8890 yesterday, but saw no increase over the default drivers...not a big deal to me, just thought id throw that out there...some of the extra featrues look nice, though

What about the quality of the omega drivers? Can you see a difference in colors,textures,etc. or not. Is the speed the same or slower than the default drivers?

speed was exactly the same, 2997 3d mark 03...didn't really notice any difference in colors or anything, but i cant remember specifically looking at colors with the other drivers
