Ever heard of the freeware program "Samurize"? It can do all that (I think) if you tweak around with all the settings. You can have it show other stuff like incoming e-mails, IP address, in/out network speeds, hard drive space, etc.

It uses VERY little memory to run and I think the website is: Samurize

TreeSize by JAM Software. There is a shareware (paid) PRO version, but there is also a freeware version.

It is definately worth the $10 or $20 for the PRO version, however, as that along with BeyondCompare 2 (by Scootersoftware) are INFINITELY valuable on data-filled systems.
