XPS 2 anyone in testing who ordered shields?

I noticed that the PERSONALIZATION SHIELD has a 3 day lead time.I ordered my XPS 2 on 2/25 with those shields and I am still stuck in production while others who ordered after me are in either testing or boxing.Just trying to make sense of the delay for some of us.Anyone with other ideas?

Good question.. I have shields and am still in the build stage as well. The number of times I have called each rep verified all parts are in and just taking time to build due to the high demand.. Usual line by each rep you know?

I ordered on 3/1 with no shield, and I'm still stuck in production with the rest of you.

ordered shield and still in production... I had wondered whether this would cause a delay besides the display, P-M chip, Ultra card, 7200rpm hard drive... and running out of cardboard packaging

Kind of stinks that a $29.00 piece of equipement is holding our orders up....if that's the case.

I ordered my shield seprately. I am in the in-production stage too. I don't think it applys to the orders places before the delay. Than again, I don't know what I am talking about.
