AIM for Mac (NOT iCHAT) lost logged msg file encryption password

I am having the same problem, I have set my password for the logged file encryption so long ago (and it is different from my aim account password) that I can't remember it. I now need to get into one of those old files for some contact information and I can't read my msg logs because I don't have this password any longer. I have checked my keychain and while it does have my aim ACCOUNT passwords it does not have the msg log encryption pw. I have searched AIM's website and FAQ's etc. and the web and can find no reference as to how I might reset this msg log password without already having my old one. If anyone can help on this matter I would REALLY REALLY appreciate it!!

read his message again. its for the LOG FILE ENCRYPTION PASSWORD
which is diffrent from the aim pswd

Get Adium

It won't help with this now. But get Adium. Much Much better.

Why did you enable encryption anyway? Permissions in OSX should prevent anyone from reading your logs anyway as long as they're in your home directory.
