AC97 or High Definition Audio for 9300?

As I understand it, manufacturers have the choice of implementing Sonoma's High Definition audio or keeping the old Realtek AC97, so can anybody tell me what the 9300 uses? Thanks in advance.

AC97 unfortunately, although with the subwoofer it is supposed to sound better than a regular notebook. If you want to hook up externals though, consider an audigy.

Cheers

Sound Quality is very acceptable in games, not quite up there with an Audigy 2, but I'm happy with it.

Man that sucks...the next question then to those with the PCMCIA Indigo Echo, how does it do with games? I know that Creative offers EAX, but is it really worth it since I've read that the Indigo does a lot better at music playback, which is a big plus for me.
