XPS2 Boxed ready to ship!!!!!

Just got off the phone with a rep from DELL Canada, My XPS2 is Boxed and is shipping either tommorow or thursday from Austin, Texas !!!

anyone else in this stage ??

They are still thinking about how they want to place mine in the box and if the scotch tape is the right size or not

Alright wtf when did you order yours because i ordered mine the day it came out and mine is in "build"

Ill agree with you there. I think what happend though is they had no parts to start hence why most of us went into production at around the same time.

Atleast youll get yours soon too

Hey Soccerji,

I spoke to Dell ca. earlier this morning and was advised that my xps2 was also boxed and going to be shipped either today or tommorow. (I will believe it when I see it...) The CSR told me that if I check the Website later today or tommorow, it should say that the package was shipped. I was also informed that the port replicator that I ordered with the xps2 will be delayed two weeks (07Apr)

BTW: I to was informed that it was comming from Austin, TX. I thought these were made in Malaysia?

And did you order the shieds?
I ordered on March 10th and it's still in Production.

My order was in the boxing stage, but some idiot at Dell decided that they had entered the wrong SKU numbers and so they cancelled my order. Now I'm back in Production with no status.

*sigh* How I wish I was still in boxing, or even build for that matter.

Can you guys please tell me who talked to? Anyone I talk to at Dell.ca Customer Care tells me that all they can see is that it is in production and that they have no idea what stage. Argh!

Thanks Bat Boy but unfortunately that only works for US orders. Canadian orders only have 8 digits, and believe me, I have tried adding a digit before or after my 8 to get something from that # but to no availe.

Alright is it better to call the guy you ordered it from to find the buld info or talk to some random person, i've done the random person thing and it get nothing.

My order was placed on the 7th of march and it was done through my company epp plan.

Im so lost, yesterday i called and it was in the build stage, call today and its in the kitting stage?... was i in the future yesterday?
