That's awesome Petri. When did you order yours? I ordered mine on the 14th with an estimated date of the 30th (1 day after yours) and when I talked to Dell Canada Customer Care this morning I was told that they are still waiting for parts.

I just checked today and the XPS2 I ordered om 03/22 is now in the testing stage as of noon today.
The 9300 I ordered still shows to be in production that I ordered on 03/09.

BTW, grats to all you guys that have your XPS shipping out today!

Congrats to all that have had their XPS 2's shipped.I will look forward to reading your reviews and looking at the pics while I wait for mine to arrive.Since I moved to boxing early this morning I am hoping it will arrive by the middle of next week.

Mine just moved from Testing to Boxing =)

I also emailed dell several times and I got free next day shipping and a free 200 dollars to spend... lol

Basically a hello/wait-anxiety post, here. (So... Hello, already!) This is my first full day of the waiting phase and for those of you who make that look like a second-and-a-half, the survivors of your sanity have my condolences. Ordered yesterday and I'm on my first low-end of the yo-yo. (Currently in Testing apparently - seems too quick? I'm waiting for it to head back north to Pre-Prod any minute now.)

I'm definitely here to help make my wait a little more bearable - great place so far although I haven't gone into the Gateway threads yet, so... that could change [[kidding, geez]]. I've been through most of the sparkle-related posts and threads but before posting again I'm gonna catch up on the rest of the XPS2 threads or at least those that seem essential.

*Checks watch, refreshes status page a couple times, checks watch again, paces...*

I ordered it during the evening on the 15th, the exact config in my sig without any shields and the free backpack. I had sent them an email yesterday asking what my order status was but didn't receive anything back. I wonder if they were just lazy in updating the status and finally did so.

For some reason I have two tracking numbers from purolator. I wonder if they shipped the backpack separate?

I have two tracking numbers as well. I think your assumation of the backpack shipping seperately is a good one. Or else they'd need to make custom boxes.

Looking back at the screenshot of your status page I notice that your expected delivery date is between April 1st to the 5th. My page looks identical to yours - went into production on the 17th as well. But my delivery date is March 28th to 30th. Do you think this is because of your location in Canada? I'm in Montreal, it's being shipped right downtown.

Any 770's shipped yet?

I've been watching these "shipping" postings all day and it looks like they were all P-M 760's. Has anyone who ordered a 770 received a shipping notice yet? Mine has been in "boxing" status all week and like other folks out here, I'm a bit frustrated to hear that people ordering days/weeks after I did already have there's in transit.

BTW, I'm waiting on a email response from Dell. If it's anything new that hasn't already been posted, I'll let folks know.

Yep looks like mostly 760 based systems are the ones that shipped out. Might be a little bit longer before us 770 guys get ours. I don't expect my system to ship out until at least April 7th anyhow.

Does anyone know how long it takes from boxing until shipping because i've been in boxing since this morning March-24-05, and on a second note, i got my free Dell A922 All-In-One Printer today, its pretty good.

Man, I am so jealous. I ordered the same thing except for the personalization shield one day sooner. Dell.ca is still telling me that there is a 14 business day back order on my machine.

Argh! It's driving me nuts.

I had the shields selected and was ready to order, but decided to wait and get them after seeing a few reviews.

I assume the shipping difference between Regina and Montreal is due to the size. Perhaps Montreal can be shipped directly from the states whereas
Regina gets them from Winnipeg or Calgary. Hopefully it's a conservative estimate but I'll still be happy with and early April delivery.
