Question for those that say they know they are shipping: I have been in the "Boxing" stage since Sunday, are they saying on the Dell web site that your shipping or is some one telling you this buy phone or both? Thanks LeeU

LOL, at least I am not the only one that happened to . I was actually in the "testing" stage.(not checked but highlighted) and testing per phone status as well.

Well I jumped back to "production"(phone status also) then I moved back to "pre-production" then I went back to "build" stage.

Like an episode out of the twilight zone.

I did not change or alter the order, and the credit card I used was processed successfully immediately.

With Dell reps it all comes down to the rep you get each time you call and how willing they are to go the extra mile for you.

I had a rep tell me she could not even check my order status since they did not have access to that information.

Hopefully soon, this Xps2 will be at the door.

Everybody keep posting your status's it really helps show how the production line is moving.

@ Soccerji
I ordered mine from the Canadian website on Feb 26th. I sure hope mine is near the boxing stage, but I kinda doubt it.... I'm still showing "in production" stage, and my rep, a guy called Serpaul hasn't had much of a clue as to what the status of it is when I call him to ask. I'd love to know who's palm you greased at Dell Canada to get such a great ship date..... put me in touch with him... maybe he can hurry mine order along

D'oh! I tried calling the number first, and was quite confused when the rep couldn't pull up my order or anything. Should've read your reply first.

I talked with a person yesterday (Stephen, I think his name was), who told me that my system should be done with the testing today or tomorrow, and that it should be out the door by the end of the week (even saying that I could phone them later on in the week to get a tracking #).

I'll see what happens when that time comes. I do have a case #, so hopefully that will help the next Dell rep I phone.

Not to spread gloom, but I was told yesterday (3/21) that my XPS would probably ship today, and as of 7:30PM PST it hasn't

That said with the others here reporting "today or tommorow" I'm hopeful that it appears online as shipped in next 24 hours

I still show boxing. I'm hoping mine doesn't arrive until friday. I won't be able to sign for it on thursday. Damn college! Well, unless they use Airborne. What courier does Dell use for overnight/next day delivery?

waiting for a real review.. is driving me nuts...
I cant think how I am going to feel after i order it...
Does anyone get that feeling that the XPS2 statuses might not be correct ?
Orders canceled after being in boxing ? Orders statuses moving backward and forward. Could it be that these orders have bad SKU's like someone mentioned ?

Who knows ... Maybe the order scheduler is trying to move things out of the way for valid orders ? The only way to get them out of the way is to reschedule or cancel/reorder ?

It's still in beta, give it a month.

Thanks.

Damn, that sucks though. FedEx comes too late in the day.
