Well I have been following these threads almost religiously for the past few days , along with my own order status which is in the group of moving backwards and forwards.
All I can say is that the way Dell does orders does not seem to make any sense at all. I am thrilled that some people are reporting shipping status's which is great for everybody since hopefully they can start some threads about impressions/reviews etc etc.
It's amazing how almost 95% of Dell reps aren't really capable of doing anything except wasting phone time unless it has to do with simple clear requests like cancellation etc.
It's pretty clear even with trying to track parts that are on backorder, that Dell selects orders on a random basis since there are people who have ordered just a few days before there reported ship dates and have had no hang ups at all, while a large group of people who ordered first days are lagging behind. (Not all)
Too bad the XPS2 is such a sweet product(hopefully) making all of us tolerate Dell's bs.
If anything I certainly enjoy posting and following the threats and such quick replies, it helps make the wait more tolerable!
