A 3DMark05 score of 4200 is pretty damn good...I had a desktop Athlon64 3000 with a 6800 and a gig of ram and got around that score. It ran Doom 3, Far Cry, and HL2 smooth and fast so the 9300 looks like it can hold it's own. I can't wait to see what the XPS can do for real.

crap! My score is only 2300. I think I'm gonna format and install XP pro. I was running Doom 3 @ 1680x1050 @50fps in demo1, but now it's only running at 15fps. Dammit!

sure you dont have it unpluged from the wall while doing that and then having the nvidia speed manage thing set to battery optimized

that could be your problem i could be wrong though

Remember....Display settings have an affect. Default for desktop running is usually 1024x768. Try that on a I9300/XPS and you get a Pop-up warning of app trying to reset the settings. I've only tried 2001SE...got 15609 on default settings (1440x900x32)

A user with a WUXGA will run even higher settings and possibly slightly lower score.....
