Notebook RAM

Thread Starter
I am not sure if it has got to do with the slicing of the technology price, but from what i gathered in this foum, notebook RAM seems to be degrading. I used to own a classic IBM thinkpad T70 , a dell 8100, a hp (can't remember what spec) and all of they do not have RAM problem. However, nowadays, pple have been complaining with bad Rams and things as such (inculding me). Any thoughts anyone?

I had a Dell 8100 myself and the RAM was absolute crap. It couldn't handle anything, really. I even doubled the ram, but it didn't seem to do anything really. I'd never buy a Dell again, and so far the RAM in the 8100 has been great for me. No complaints.
