One of the answers I got yesterday when I was bitching was that my PC was being shipped from overseas, and that's the delay that was going to make it ship to me on April 1. When I bitched to the sales person and she said that she was going to do everything she could to expedite, I believe they took one from their Tennessee manufacturing site (ordered by someone esle with same configs) to replace mine. I am excited, but I am also a sorry that my expedite may cause someone else to get my original order from overseas thus causing them a delay.

Stugpanzer, I live in Illinois as well specifically North Aurora. Our laptops are both in Hodgkins, IL as I write this. I just called UPS and was trying to figure out if I can just get it from there. I just don't have an idea where Hodgkins, IL is. Yeah, I'm eager and excited to get it (I just got my SONY PSP and I'm still craving for new toys). Anywho, we just might get our laptops today.

If you live anywhere near me, let me know so we can meet and compare and check who has the most "sparkles" LOL

I got the 4/4 delay to

I posted a status question on Dells forums, and they said it shud ship within 2-3 days, so now Ive reposted again asking her who to believe, her or the delay, we'll see wat she says

*phew* kinda calmed down since the bastards offered me a $150 credit for all this mental stress!! About time...

So final price = $1292 - $150 = $1152

Worth waiting till? 04/04... Hell no!!! Screw the $150.. i want my laptop right now... ughhhh... I don't know if i should be happy or mad!! They said I have to call back for the credit once I get my system.

Well a bit of good new finally, at least I hope what they are telling me is true. Like I said previously I got the delay to 4/4 email, but when I called in to tell them I didn't want to cancel my order the CS rep said that my Laptop was being listed as in Transit to Dell and should be shipped out with 2 days.

So for all you that got the 4/4 delay you way want to call the number in the email and see if you can get a order update.

oh and congrats to you guys that got you order shipped!

Which number did you call? Is that the one you call to tell them that you want to continue your order and not cancel it?

I called that number and the lady was very blunt.. lol.. I said "Mam I don't want to cancel my order, I want to continue.. Would you please happen to have an estimate on what stage its at right now?".... She's like "Sir, Do you want to continue or cancel your order? I can't help you with anything else! I can transfer you to customer service for that!" .. so I couldn't really ask her for order status... So I just whimpered "I want to continue it" and thats it .. she hung up. lol

Dell Samantha responded to my thread regarding who to believe, her or these emails. She said the emails are totally automated and go only by whether there is an invoice stating our item has been shipped in their database by the estimated ship date.

So basically since she said 2-3 days it should be out, thats when it should be out, way before the 4/4 estimated delivery date since today is the 24th. I figure it would ship then Monday at the absolute latest.

Yep I called the same number. The CS I talked to was a bit nicer, she must have just started her shift.

She also said that she'd taken a lot of called today from people who didn't want ot cancel the orders, must have been all of us calling in, and she's been giving them all the good news that their systems are on the way.

Yeah me too Stug. We'll be feasting our eyes for some sparkling LCD today. LOL. For the rest of the guys, I'll comment on my LCD quality by tomorrow since I won't be playing with it until later tonight when I come home from work. Peace brother.

Been saying that since last night.. How long before I get a tracking number or they tell me the method it was shipped with?

I don't have my hopes up yet.. probably will be stuck in this stage for another 4-5 days .. lol

I got my tracking #, but those sonz of bitches put ground shipping instead of 2day, called Dell, they called UPS, UPS said it should get to me within the 2 business days, Monday, I dont believe them at this point
