Thanks for visiting and answering our questions.
I have two;
Does Dell pay attention to Dell product owner interactive forums such as this one to correct problems? There's a rather unpopular service tech that answers questions (kind of) on the American Dell forum. Is he submitting a report to his supervisor stating what the biggest gripe of the month was?
You've indicated that the corporate head thinks the screen problem is a non-issue, but I find it odd that they've released a statement for it's employees to use that actually includes the truely consumer-dubbed adjective, "sparkly"".
It seems that somewhere along the line, the head did concider the consumer dissatisfaction of their screens to be a potential problem, because apparently they read the collective consumer gripe and wieghed it against profits lossed. I'm sure if the profits lost to the sparkly screen were less than negligable, then it would be concidered by them to be a "serious problem".
The other question is simple:
Can you tell us what the base of the chassis for the 9200 and 9300 Inspiron is made of? How about the lid?
Thanks a lot. I hope you pop in now and again. I also hope you are not comprimising your job position by your presence here.
