9300 Battery life

I got 2:30 hour battery life with 40min remaining with the 6 cell. Word processing, installing a few programs, running some specialty engineering software, and surfing wireless on. Not too bad. This is with 1.6ghz and 128mb x300, which probably helps.

wow, that just shoes the huge difference the graphics card can make. My best with light use was close to 2 hours. I have the 6800 GPU!

the battery life on a 6800 i9300 is only 2 hours?? I thought it was 4 - 5?

Nope, its about 1.5-2 with the 6 cell and 2.5-3 with the 9 cell.

maybe with some cutbacks you can get 4

From my experience I don't think you will get 4, you might get 3.5 but I haven't been able to yet.
