Ok, i got 2 questions about the video out:

1: Can i change the wallpaper of an extended desktop monitor?

2: How in hell do i use the tv-out feature with a rca cable, because my tv doesnt support s-video, i used the included s video cable, then some 3 end with 2 yellow ones (one seems to be a s-video female, the other a rca female, and i dont recognize the third), i tried adding a rca cable to the female rca jack, and the included s-video cable to the female part f the 3-end jack, but with no success, can anyone help?

Thanks in advance!

1. If it's an extended desktop monitor, I don't think you can change it's wallpaper alone... but, I'm no expert so someone else might be better at answering that.

2. If I'm reading you right, your setup should have worked. S-video out from the laptop to an s-video in (female connector) and then the RCA out (female) through an RCA cable to the RCA video in on your tv. Then set the tv to input (if you put it in video 1, set the tv to video 1, etc). Then, set the lappy to LCD and tv... do this by either hittign fn f8, or going into the display properties, advanced, and click displays, and click the on switch for tv... if it's grey, then you need to reset the computer with the plugs plugged in. If this all doesn't work, then that 3 way adaptor you have is messed up or is not the right thing to be using. Best of luck!

Yeah, its strange, i tried using the s-video alone and connecting it to the s-video in of the lappy, and it detects a tv! But, when i tried the same thing using the included 3 way cable to connect it to the tv or the lappy rca video in, it wouldnt work...maybe i should get another adapter...
Thanks!

Yeah, if that's the case then it's the adaptor. It might not be the right thing. Personally, I always treat 3 way adapters as working in either direction, but maybe this one is a 1 way, lol, or maybe it's not even for video... Best of luck to you! If you can't find a good s-video to RCA adaptor, you can get one of those s-video/RCA audio to coaxial adaptors and use that on the tv. Prolly lower quality, but it works. Let us know how it goes!
