high capacity battery

Thread Starter
i have seen the #s for the regular batteries on the sony s360 and 380, but what about the high capacity batteries,

just to double check 380(3:30, regular) 360(5:30, regular)

i really what an s380, (linux and better sound) but if i lose to much battery life, i might have to consider something different

and has anyone tried to OC the 6200tc, it based on the same core as the 6800 (i don't believe it either, but heck it is what it is) and maybe there is a fair bit of "hidden power" in it

I have a high capacity in my s360, and with everything on high it says there is 6:30 left. I also like how it slants the laptop to make it more comfortable for typing.

The S360 and S380 have the same chassis, and use the same batteries. However, the S380 has shorter battery life than the S360.

If you are thinking about pure graphics performance, then the S360 (Mobility Radeon 9700) will perform better than the S380 (Geforce Go 6200).

I would not count on being able to OC a laptop GPU too much. In my experience (where I OC'ed an underclocked 9700 to ATI's default max spec), you'll find that the VRAM they use isn't of a high enough quality to support overclocking. The additional heat will also put a strain on your cooling system, which probably isn't designed to handle the additional heat from OC'ing. You'll also experience artifacts and crashes from this heat. So do this at your own risk.
