Sager 8890

What is the battery life on a Sager 8890? I like all the features, but I need something that will be able to go for more than 2 hours.

Uhh we don't discuss Sager's in this forum. This is for other notebooks and stuff. You'll have better luck posting this question in the dedicated Sager area.

The 8890 gets about 2 hours with casual use, like word processing and internet.

Isn't being concerned whether a notebook based on PC desktop hardware has good battery life kind of like an oxymoron?

no, because you still want it to get at least an hour. you wouldn't be concerned if the battery lasted five minutes?

Well maybe...but only VERY, VERY, VERY, VERY little tho. When I finally order my 5680, I'll be using it in class in the computer lab so it'll be plugged in and at LAN parties (plugged in obviously.)

yeah, but just having a battery so you can use it for 30 minute intervals or whatever is a pretty important feature, otherwise people would get those desknote thingeys without batteries.
