Thread Starter
anyone else have this problem? I just installed Brothers in Arms and the game works fine but when I exit the game windows crashes and says that my memory is uloading???? only way to get it back is by rebooting. Then when rebooted the screen is changed to 800x600 but it's not safe mode. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Hmm.. I wonder if it will work on the 9200?

I dont know why but it states on the bottom of the box that this game does not support the laptop conterparts of the X700/X800/ATI9600/9700/9800 nor does it support Nvida FX/6*** cards in the future patchs may fix this problem.

I think it was SirBA who had it working on his 9300 earlier...search for threads he has opened - maybe this question was answered there.

I run this game under any resolution especially (1280x1024) 32bit and runs flawlessly! sharp graphics not a single LAG

and i have no patch the version (BIAPCRC1.0)

i am using 76.10 optimized drivers and overclocked to 330/680

maybe you overclocking too much

There is no such problem to be fixed!
stop being funny guys. xps gen 2 is a gaming laptop for gaming purposes to play games on it, to play games! with a nvidia GO card not nvidia only to play games on a laptop that means don't believe in everything you read!

It's very simple really, both ATI and Nvidia don't release drivers direct to users for their notebook chipsets so for mainstream users the only route to better drivers is their PC manufacturer (who usually take ages to get new drivers up for users to use on their sites). This leads to a lot of uncertainty about what drivers users are using with their laptops (especially in cases where the OEMs relable the drivers to the extent that finding the version requires some detective work) and so to cover their asses games companies don't "officially" support notebook graphics chipsets.

However since it's relatively easy to find desktop graphics drivers modified to work with notebook chipsets on the net there is no reason a savvy user shouldn't be able to get any game that will work on equivalent desktop chips running on their lappy

Oh and incidentally since the drivers Dell currently provide for 9300/XPS2 are pretty old this sort of problem in games is quite likely unless you hunt down recent drivers from other sources like SirBA bas

Don't worry. I already have a 9300. I meant the game.
