I want to add a stick of 256mb ram to my current 1 stick of 256, to make 512 on my hp ze4600 series laptop. I was looking around and i saw newegg has just recently added a new choices to their so-dimm collection. They are selling a centon ddr2100 256mb chip for only $24, and i was wondering if that ram was any good, or if i should pay a bit more and go for another brand. Also, since my computer supports only ddr2100 ram, would paying an extra 10 cents for the 2700 ram do me any difference? would it have more/less chance of being compatible with my mobo?
