Alright guys.....seriously. I have been looking forward to BIA for some time. Isn't the XPS 2 supposed to be on par/if not better than current gaming desktops? If that's the case, why in the world would BIA not run?

Unless I missed something, I think he's asking because BIA doesn't support mobile cards.
Quote:
Supported Video Cards at Time of Release:

* ATI® Radeon® 8500/9000/X series
* NVIDIA® GeForce™ 4/FX/6 series (GeForce 4 MX not supported)

Laptop models of these cards not supported. These chipsets are the only ones that will run this game. Additional chipsets may be supported after release.
I don't know if some modified drivers will work though.

shhoot
I better send mine back. I didnt know you could game? Is it worth more??

The only question on gaming for this xps2 is older games. Like I dont know if you can get some DOS games to work like doom or duke nukem

I tried duke3d once and it didnt work, so I just said screw it and played some HL2

Any new game should play on the xps2. I wont even look at game requirments, just grab it off the shelf and go

Well, you might not go anywhere with this game...

It has to do with the laptop driver revision I believe; SirBa on these forums uses the regular, newer Forceware drivers (which everyone should, btw) and he has reported no issues with the game.
