Any Review on Alienware 51m

I have been reading some forums regarding Alienware 51m and the quality of it. I read so many bad reviews on http://www.notebookreview.com/forums...28&whichpage=1 and I wonder what do you guys think of the laptop? I heard it takes forever to get the computer. I heard it has 14 pahses before the laptop will be ship. Also sometimes keys not working, wrong drivers etc... I am looking to buy a AW laptop too but I need to thinking carefully because it is not cheap.

Everyone at Notebook Review hates AW, and the majority of them probably have never owned one. I believe I'm the only person to ever say anything nice about them over there. AW is a great company. I've had no problems with my rig or the company since I ordered. The phase game isn't so bad-mine shipped hella early. If you want an AW, buy one. You won't be dissapointed.

Skyline, your system will rock. I've owned AW laptops and 1 desktop and never had a problem with any

Both companies are VERY good as far as I know. I went with Alienware because of these forums mainly and secondly because of their reputation and lastly because of the "COOL" modded casing. I'll admit the worst part of my order was WAITING and playing the PHASE game.....but hey, it was well worth it..........

If you want it in a couple of days, go through Sager or PC Torq, if you're prepared to wait, get ALIENWARE!! Just an honest opinion.....

I've had my Lappy for over 2 months now and its GREAT!!!!

If you want to know how I feel about my machine, go check out my review in the review sub forum. I'm damn pleased with it, and that review will cover it all in depth. If you need anything else, send me a pm and I'll get back to asap. And for any of the old guys that remember, yeah, I still browse the place every once in a while ^_~

There are many variations to the battery life. It depends if you use the power saving features on the lappy........or not

Generally, Max settings will get me 1 Hour and 20 mins.

Actually, I havent tried the power saving thingy yet.....I should!

I'll do that tomorrow and see how much I can squeeze out of it.......and then I'll post a 7700 battery review...

Battery lasts about 2 1/2 hours (with the power saving thingy). Skyline, my experience has been very positive. My lappy worked perfectly out of the box and not a dead pixel in sight. AW doesn't load a bunch of useless junk on the system either. It's fast and it's mean.

Hey you might want to switch out the Internal to the external for the wireless...and if you don't want to do that you will need to change ati to Nvidia, Partially because there is a some glitch with ati and internal wireless...and you will get an e-mail about that one...
