This is pretty ironic... You all probably have read about me bragging about my 4504 laptop... well of couse i have a problem now ... I leave my laptop on constantly and this morning when I woke up there is now one skinny line going vertically down the monitor. Anyone know what this is a cause of? I have the extended 3 yr extended in house warranty. so do you think they would come to my house and replace it? Thanks in advance.

It sounds like your video card is bad. I would call them to either send you a replacement or get them to install it for you.

Thank you for your reply, I was beggining to think that everyone on the forum hated me :-P. I will give them a call tomorrow and see what happens... The morning I had gone to go on my computer and noticed it, my computer was reallllly warm or hot. would that make a difference?
