I felt the need to make a thread where everyone who just shipped out can post about it.

I'll start:

Finally, I shipped out today. I was in boxing since last Wednesday. But wait...I told everyone from the start that my XPS 2 would ship the day I leave from vacation. Well, my notebook shipped sometime during the drive back to school. I can barely stand the irony. Too bad it will go to my dad's office back where I just drove from. Overnight shipping too, such a shame.

my XPS2 shipped on Friday, March 25th and is currently in transit... scheduled delivery: March 29th

I have overnight next day delivery... but it's still taking 4 days to get delivered

ordered on 14th march with ship date of apr 12. went into boxing on 24th march. shipping on 26th. ups tracking says delivery on 30th. prob. getting LG and getting less and less bothered about it.

Mine was also shipped Saturday, shipping estimate 3/29. Did you guys use the live chat to determine what screen you're getting? If not, how'd you figure it out?

yeap mine is on its way too.. will arrive on 29th. i'm lucky though ordering on 3/20 i wouldn't expect delivery this fast. However i wasn't this lucky when i ordered a x6000. waited 3 weeks to find out it's gonna be another 4 weeks before i get it.

Alright my iXPS2 went into shipping on March 26th and i have next day, it first said march 29th and now it got reschedualed to march 30th, so that kinda pisses me off.

Cool.

Mine is scheduled to deliver tomorrow, but since today is sunday, I'm thinking Tuesday. At the latest, I'll see mine this Saturday when I meet my dad half way. That's a 2 hour drive one way (not fun).

I don't have a tracking number yet...but how do I check what LCD screen I got? I know it's been asked before...sorry...

Technically, mine was shipped Friday evening and I had overnight shipping, but my ship date on my order status page shows Monday even though my tracking number is active in UPS system and the machine has already been dispatched. I got overnight shipping, but it was shipped ground. Since my order status page says it was shipped Monday (which isn't even here yet), my overnight shipping would be Tuesday. But since it was actually shipped Friday, I probably would've gotten it Monday if they actually used Next-Day Air. I think that's pretty shady on Dell's part.

tjmaxwell2, my order is just like yours.. shipped friday w/overnight shipping but the ship date on the dell website says monday (today). The UPS site shows in transit/dispatched on the package where it is sitting 10 miles from the house. The ETA shipping date is tuesday.

I questioned a CSR late last night and got her committed via chat (so it is documented) that it is to be arriving today. If not I have a valid complaint since it is documented w/a case #.

I agree it is shady on how they forward date the website to make it like it is next day shipping. I questioned them on this and got the 'weekend holiday' however this is off of UPS's website:
"Business day" means Monday through Friday except the following holidays:
- New Year's Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Day after Thanksgiving Day*
- Christmas Day
- New Year's Eve*

*Delivery of UPS Air Services and International Packages only.

****THIS DOESNT HAVE EASTER LISTED, SO IF DELL OR UPS BLAME THE HOLIDAY YOU CAN REFER TO THIS, WHICH IS LISTED IN UPS'S TERMS OF SERVICE CONDITIONS.***

Mine shipped Friday the 25th, but because I live in Canada I'm not going to get it any time soon. I'm hoping for Thursday/Friday at the earliest.

I ordered mine on Feb 26 and is still wating to go in to Boxing.....Unsure why some are getting thier computers with MUCH later order dates...IF not in boxing today..will CNX, and got o BB and get a Sony..dont need the Ultra anyway!

why dont you call maybe theres something from your order out of stock, and why do you complain if you are not over your original shipping date? you knew that it is going to be hard to wait.
