The sparkle screens really arnt that bad. Infact I happen to like mine. The only time I really notice the sparkles on my XPS2 is if I make the background solid light green. Which hurts my eyes in the first place.

The rest of the screen is great. No light leakage if any its minimal and very strong picture with good brightness.

And yes id still give up my favorite pants for a free Alienware 7700.

LOL I'm not really knocking the xps.. it's just fun to pick on some of the dell guys cuz they get soooo defensive. I almost bought the xps2, but opted for better upgradeability.

Upgradeing wouldnt be to much of a problem for me if they would let us OC our GPUs. Thats why I bought the 1 year warranty so I could void it when I recieved my laptop. Now I will have to wait untill we can flash the Bios.

So can we actaully get free 7700s here?

No ones saying anyone sucks right now. The last poster just stated that he was poking fun. Its not like we don't say things about other peoples stuff all the time.

waaa Hulk. my second post was posted for you. lol. but the first one wasnt about Dell. its about one of the Dell guys that hangs out here in the Alienware forum. you guys gotta lighten up a little.

btw, when's the mr9800 coming out for the 5500? and when will aw starting offering 6xx series p4s in the 7700?
