How good is 15.4 WXGA 1280x800 screen resolution? I'm really considering buying this notebook for university, but I wanna know a little bit more about its display? Is it crisp, or clear? Also, is that resolution good for movies, DVDs, and games?
Thank You

Re:

This is the one I wanna get (configured the way I want it, it's gonna cost $1832.00; better than an Acer Ferrari 3200/3400 I'd've wanted...):

*Display: 15.4 WXGA 1280x800
*Processor: AMD Athlon 64 Mobile 3400+
*Memory: 1GB
*Hard Disk: 60GB 7200RPM
*Graphics: 128MB ATI Radeon 9700 Dedicated Memory
*Optical Drive: Lite-on 8x DVD+/-RW
*Operation System: Win XP Pro
*Build-in Wireless Card: Intel Pro/Wireless 2915ABG 802.11 a/b/g MiniPCI
*Spare Battery (Extra $105)

Can anyone comment on this or anything?
Thank You.

PS- I'm getting it from EKM. How's their service/ tech support?
Thanks

As for the quality of the screen, mine is flawless. no dead pixies. It takes a little getting used to the 1280x800 ratio. To see for yourself set your current monitor to 1280x1024 or whatever 1280x resolution you have available and download this:

http://www.mlin.net/files/WindowSizer.zip

to set a window to 1280x800.

I highly recommend this notebook. Got mine for 1320 shipped from mwave.com with a 3000+, 60G 5400rpm, no wireless (going to add it myself), 1G ram, dvd drive.

FYI, my DVD will write to dual-layer discs.
