First just a quick thank you to everyone in these forums for their contributions. Before buying the Sager 9860 I was leaning toward one of the high end Alienware systems but after reading enough on this site I decided to go with Sager and I am happy I did.
First here are the specs of the system:
Sager NP9860 FORCE

Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound
2,048MB (2 SODIMMS) DDR2/533 Dual Channel Memory
60GB Ultra ATA/100 Hard Drive at 7,200 RPM
60GB Ultra ATA/100 Hard Drive at 7,200 RPM
Combo 8X DVD+/-R/RW/CD-RW (2.4x DVD+R DL) Drive w/Softwares
Combo 8X DVD/24x10x24 CD-RW w/Bracket & Softwares
External USB Floppy Drive
Built-in 802.11g Wireless + Bluetooth Combo
1 TV Tuner for Sager NP9860
I ordered the system from powernotebooks.com and was very happy with the service they provided. The only problem I had with the order was that I ordered an additional battery that was not included. After I noticed this I e-mailed the rep at powernotebooks.com and within minutes (no joke) he had called my home phone, business phone and finally my cell phone. He patched me through to a Sager rep that tried to assure me that the battery was in the package because three people signed for it. He asked that I "look around" about three times and I assured him it was not there. He said he would talk to his manager and that powernotebooks would get back with me. Later that day I got an e-mail from powernotebooks that the battery was being shipped. So while the Sager rep did not have the greatest customer service skills, in the end they did take care of the problem.
As for the system, I love it. I mostly bought the system to do work on. Since I am a developer I needed a machine that could run web servers, application servers, database servers and development tools without a problem and this machine definitely fits the bills. Most of the time I have SQL Server, IIS, ColdFusion, and MS Report Server all running. Then I have my developer tools like Dreamweaver, a couple of IE windows, ERStudio and of course Windows Media Player all without a problem.
The only game I have loaded right now is Half-Life 2 and it looks awesome. I have no dead pixels on the screen and the heat has not been a problem. Using SpeedFan everything is about 40C. I have not run any benchmarks but it seems like enough of those have been posted.
The only compliant I have with the system is the internal wireless card. If you are considering buying one don't, the reception is horrible. I can have this sitting right next to my Dell 600M which has an excellent signal and the signal on the 9860 is weak and goes in and out.
