Im typing on a new keyboard.

Hey guys, im finally typing on my XPS2!

This is awesome and im really enjoying just starting it up. Ill have to start installing and downloading both powerstrip and mark 05.

So far I dont notice any sparkle on the screen. but im probally ignorant..... its bliss that way . Ill run the check none the less! On my way!

starting the downloads... ill see what I can do about pictures. I must have a digital camera sitting around here somewhere. Ill give you guys some topside when I can. Sitting on my floor with it right now :P

Alright just installed anti virus getting 3dmark installed and getting the Digital camera fired up. Im doing this as fast as possible for you guys

Few quick questions.

Where do I find the LED control?
Whats the site for powerstrip?

Ok pictures taken. 3dmarks almost done. So ill go ahead and get these hosted for you and get my score and write up a reivew once I install a game or two... sheesh im working faster than I usually do!

Another reflection on the screen. To be honest this screends passed my expectations. And yes I ran powerstrip. Its deffinitly LG and I can see sparkles but its minimum.

Ok then everyone.

Ill get the screenshot up later, im busy installing games now. So meh.

I did run 3Dmark05 and got a 4980 Out of the box will all of the dell crap and no driver updates. So Thats doing pretty well in my mind

I ran the DEMO in Mark05 as well testing out the speakers.

Speakers:
10/10
Crips and loud
I would venture to say they are the best laptop ones ive heard, not that ive heard many. I have a USB sound thing coming but hearing the speakers now makes me think it would only be a minor diffrence.

Screen:

Sparkely and nice!
There are sparkles. Let me tell you though for me its hard to tell unless I really try and find them. The LG really isnt that bad unless your looking right up at it. Infact if your heads not stuck on your screen its hard to even notice the sparkels. Unless of course you like a Real light green background. Very low light leakage as far as I can tell.
Sharp picture and nice gloss effect. Overall I feel I can keep it and not return the screen. If thats an consolidation to current buyers.

Graphics card:
9/10
Cant overclock it yet. It runs wonderfully.

Fans:
10/10
Do they even exist? I ran 3dMark and didnt get to hear my fans.. just my desktop whring in the background. The cooling on this must be awesome. Ill update this later if I can stretch the card with a Game.

LEDS:
10/10
Wish there was more choices. Figured it out though. Its under the dell quick launch status under gaming prefrences. Very fun to change mix and match.

BUILD:
10/10
Really really sturdy. Its not as heavy as I had imagined either. The screen opens well and the rubberized bottoms look like thell last.

Just another intresting discovery.

The laptops heat isnt very bad if your browsing the internet. Infact I belive its tottally lap placeable unless your running a game. Once you do you wont hear to much noise but the area with the graphics card will become a bit to hot for your lap.

So runs cool unless your gaming pretty much.
