But the UPS tracking, which is the data in my sig, tells me it will be here today. Dell still cant get their dates synchronized.

Well, mine is still in the build stage, called CS, emailed, chat with a CS and they all told me to patiently wait for it. My ship date is on April 8th. I wonder how they going to get it out by that time if they haven't start working on my order since 3/1.

Here i am sitting and waiting "patiently" for dell to call me up and tell me its all part of April's fool joke. Anyhow, when April 8th comes along and my order still in the build stage.... Someone from Dell is going to get a new A$$____.

Yeah, dell is doing some shady things with the shipping. This is rediculous, how is it legal for them to say Overnight, or 2-day and then ship it ground??? They have done this to everyone on the boards. They claim, Lwell we might have shipped it ground but you still got it in two days..." Bucnh of crap!

Un real! Those CSRs PISS ME OFF.... they always say use the word patient, how and the hell can they expect me to be patient when they provide the worst service possible???

Do2G,

Did you get the laptop today? Mine says out for delivery but UPS hasn't shown up yet. Not only that, when I called them they told me that Dell did not put my name on the package, rather just our family business name. Hopefully the stupid UPS driver doesn't get confused and not end up delivering it. I heard its a real pain dealing with the depot and getting a package out of them if your name isn't on it.

Yeah Dell already screwed up my shipment by not putting my name on the shipping label. Not sure what's going to happen today, hopefully they end up delivering it. If not I'm pretty sure it's going to end up being a pain retrieving the laptop from them.

Its not here yet. I expect it between the hours of 4pm and 5pm. So 2-3 hours from now. That is based on past experience of when UPS shippents have arrived at my house from other items me or my wife have ordered online. I have not called UPS to check on anything. Nothing has changed. Ill update my sig first thing

5150 Joker: this afternoon I confronted the local UPS delivery guy in person and spoke with him that I will be receiving two shipments tomorrow. He took my address and my phone number and said that he will give me a call as soon as he gets the packages. That way I would not have to wait at home for the entire day. I think this is a better idea than calling the local office.

What a bunch of lazy you know whats... see that is where overnight is better than ground... you see had dell shipped it overnight like was promissed that lazy ****er would of had to deliver it to you today, because it's ground they can basically do what ever the F they want to... that is how my order got in such a messed up situation

Got the XPS 2 and just setting it up. First impressions: Not very impressed by the screen, without even bothering to look for the make I can tell it's LG. The whites definitely have a greyish look to them and the panel itself is not as bright as I would like. Also there is some light leakage at the top of my screen, normally I would never have noticed or cared about this had I not visited NBF. The sony/fujitsu screens are on a different level compared to this. I think most likely I will request a samsung replacement kit sent out to me. On the plus side, the keyboard is excellent, the unit itself is quiet and the sound is top notch.
