ok , it seems i have a problem with the charging on this mouse.

i jus bought som spanking new 1800 nimh batteries, charged them once in the hub for 7-8 hours. The light stopped blinking, but just 16 hours later the mouse starts blinking read again. i charge it again til it stops, then after 15 hours its blinking again.

ive used some normal batteries, and they last for maybe a week.

Anyone else experienced this?

guess ill have too look for my receipt, and go to the shop to ask for a new one.

the mouse is 1 year

Are you using the batteries that are supplied for the mouse?? It should last approx a week. I don't think it should take that long to charge it either. Should take approx 2-4 hours if I remember right.

ok, my shop refused to refund the mouse. despite my country has the best consumer laws...

i could have fought them and won, but wasnt bothered. so i emailed logitech with the store, and technician name that told me just to replace the batteries.

got a responce:

"Thank you for contacting Logitech's Electronic Technical Support.

I am sorry that you continue to experience this issue. I understand that you are not able to get the device replaced at the Point of Purchase.

But they tell me to cut of usb lines on the charger...only way to do that is to destroy it? is that the case?

yep, i assume they are sending you an entire new mouse kit with new charger.

they need the old plugs and mouse door in order to make sure you aren't screwing with them, that's all

lol i would of argued with the place of purchase. if u dont live in switzerland ur going to a shit load of postage, even if u do it would of been funner and cheaper to argue with the place of purchase as they usually give you something free after they feel stupid.

hm, guess i have to check the postages..or just drop it off at the dealer and let them send it.

so il have to cut off the wire with a knife haha,ik cut it just after the plugs..less weight.

And the mouse can still be used..just put some tape over the cover.

1800nimh batteries lasts 2 days, normal ones lasts 4. Guess il keep it in my laptop case if i ever forget the other one.
